Our services include but are not limited to:Tutoring Services for Second Language and English Tutoring: Students that are English language/first language limited and those with limited English fluency are a priority of ours. We have established a fine practice of working with English-language limited students by providing high quality tutoring at reasonable rates.The Media Arts and Entertainment Industry: We assist students who want to learn about the Media Arts and Entertainment Industry at local colleges or at the local film schools that we work with. The school newspaper and community events such as musical theater performance or musical theater in the local community are a great way to connect with students who are interested in learning about the Arts and Entertainment Industry. Our Tutoring Services for Music and Theatre students requires a specific type of interaction and one on one attention.Community Based Education: Our tutoring services for students in the community includes adults, teens, children and adults in the community. Our goal is to engage our students in independent learning that supports our students' personal and professional development goals. In order to accomplish this, we are focused on using various methods, including personal and group meetings, reading groups, skill centers, simulations, problem solving and coaching/intervention programs.A.J. Perdue, Executive Director of A.J. Perdue Academy is available to serve our community by facilitating workshops, seminars, meetings and/or conferences and providing individual tutoring.We also offer a full schedule of Counseling and Psychological Services, which include a full range of licensed professional counselors and psychologists available on an individual basis to meet with students that need psychological services. These services are free for up to one hour and inc lude group therapy, individual and group counseling, peer support and anti-stigma education.We are committed to providing a variety of services to meet the needs of the public and our professional staffs are trained to meet all State of Texas Educational requirements. Our tutoring services are designed to be affordable and beneficial to our students.Tutoring services for English as a Second Language (ESL) and a variety of disabilities are also available by appointment.
